About Ed

Ed Sloan     I spent 35 years in the corporate world, meeting wonderful people and being ingrained with the philosophy that customer service is all important! But I never forgot my passion…home and yard improvement. I believe this love of working with my hands is a result of the direct influence of my father, who was a cabinet maker. I decided to start my own business that blends my handyman expertise with great customer service for those who don’t have the knowledge, time, or tools to do all the things required as a home owner.
I decided there would be five basic principles by which I would operate my business. Providing prompt service was the first thing I want to provide. This generally means I only work on one project at a time. I want to provide my total attention to the job at hand and do it well. Professionalism was the next. It is important for my customers to know they are entrusting their largest single investment to someone who is going to be there, even after the job is done. Quality of work is the third principle and will always be a priority in anything I do. I will adhere to this, even to the point where I may recommend another person when I don’t feel I have the necessary knowledge. The mantra of “Fake it until you make it” is not one I share! Giving the customer good value for their money was a must. And the last, but not least, is Respect. I promise not to leave your home in disarray once I have completed the job!
